Pay no mind to the facts that the racetrack has received no approvals or permits and has not broken ground. Three days ago they posted this image captioned "The winter season at Wolf Creek Autobahn will be filled with winter and holiday activities!" https://stoptheracetrack.com #con
Wolf Creek Autobahn mocks the Climate Action events with "miles per hour not miles per gallon" post.
Attend Northfield's Climate Action activities on this weekend beginning September 19th. See City of Northfield website for details. Stop the fossil fuel eating, emissions belching screaming banshee!

By way of explanation from StopTheRaceTrack, the developer asserted in his EAW that the go-karts would be quiet because they would be electric and not gasoline. The commenter apparently was aware of the developer's intention stated in the EAW to use electric go-karts and expressed pleasure in seeing that the go karts being tested for use on the 8 mile go kart track are indeed gasoline powered, not electric.

Well honestly this racetrack is way too expensive for most people in Minnesota that don't make 6+ figures or more a year to be able to blow tens of thousands of dollars to race around a track with very high yearly membership fees. I and many other car enthusiasts can honestly race at so many other places for a fraction of the costs posted

I and many other car enthusiasts can honestly race at so many other places for a fraction of the costs posted on the website. This is a really good concept don't get me wrong but this place is clearly a golf club country club type place for the upper class Minnesota individuals only. We need a track where anyone and everyone can run at and not have to worry about a suit and tie formal type place with 6 and 7 figure cars running around. Shit for the cheapest membership option that's a 2.5 week trip to Italy, just saying.....

Wolf Creek Autobahn posted this image on their Facebook page showing the grounds of another racetrack.

“World class designed road course???”
This graphic was obviously made by someone with zero performance driving experience. As others pointed out, trees are literally on top of the track. There is no curbing, no containment walls or fencing, no run off areas, no gravel or sand.
Then I thought maybe this was just a drive through the complex and not the track itself. I watched a longer video that captions “this is where the fun starts” and something about the straightaway.... as it shows a tree canopy so thick over the track you can’t see the sky.

I was super excited about this project. Then I heard the rumors that the developer had run a track development scam in the past. Now we have these promotional materials that prove one of two points: Either this developer has no idea how to design a track, or their promotional materials do not represent their plans at all, and were a complete waste of time and effort. Either way, I’m losing interest fast.
I think you're right. It's looking more and more that this isn't going to happen. They filed documents with Rice County to remove some of the rules for shoreline protections (there's a creek running on the south side of the development), but seem to have given up on getting that passed as they withdrew the request. As for past scams that you mention, the developer appear to be Neal Krzyzaniak. His brother, who is also a real estate developer, is currently in jail up in Duluth He was sentenced to 151 months in prison on fraud and income tax evasion charges for bilking investors out of $26 million in a different real estate scam. Neal was also indicted on RICO charges for a real estate deal (see the link below), so yes, there appears to be some basis to those rumors you've heard. https://www.plainsite.org/.../hodgson-v-huffman-et-al/

Jonathan Snyder [Facebook user who said she was not in favor of the development] from the looks of your profile your face looks noisy, overcrowded, and polluted 🤮 get a life you miserable hag 🥴
Justin Otterholt I think everybody should go to the street that she lives on and start doing digs out in front of the place
Wolf Creek Autobahn has allowed these abusive comments to remain on their Facebook page for weeks.
My grip with BIR is the track has no structure. This new track will be the same. Basically flat and wide open. The only obstructions from one side to other will be buildings.
It's great for going fast, but offers no driver challenge.
FAQ Day: - Will wild life be safe? YES, this will be a gated community with privacy trees lining the gate. No animals (other than pets) can get in. Keeping animals and drivers safe! #motorsportssafety
John Rendor Ya, who needs those lousy eagles and owls anyways. I mean really, I'm all for the track, but this is really dumb. Of course animals will get in and out of fences. Birds fly over, squirrels jump over, and rabbits dig under. Do we really care?
The most "affordable" membership I see is $7000. Is this track being built to cater only to the 1%ers or will there be additional membership rates that are a bit more within reach for lets say the "middle" class?
$7K is just a "Social Membership", you can use the clubs but get "limited access" to the track, but they don't let you know what limited access means. $60,000 plus a yearly subscription is what it takes to get "Road Course Access"
See more about membership rates on the Wolf Creek Autobahn website, which indicates up front costs from $200,000 to $60,000 for course access. Annual fees are additional.
